Cancellation by Qubit
Qubit reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any event due to a low number of participants or if other circumstances so require. Qubit will notify you by e-mail at least 10 business days before the event start date. After notification, you may reschedule or obtain a full credit. Qubit is not liable for non-refundable travel fees in the event of a rescheduling or cancellation of the event.
Cancellation due to Force Majeure (Vis Maior)
Qubit cannot be held responsible for changes to and cancellation of an event arising from circumstances beyond its control, such as war, strike, riots, crime, a state of emergency, public health orders or bans, extreme weather situations or the issuance of any order by any public authority that makes holding the events impracticable, unlawful or impossible (force majeure circumstances). We cannot be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from the substitution, change, cancellation or postponement of an event caused by a force majeure circumstance. In such a case we may not be able to refund the registration fee (if paid) and an additional fee for the replacement event may be charged.
The participant agrees that, should Qubit organise a virtual event instead of an in-person or hybrid event due to force majeure, Qubit will refund the pro-rata difference between the in-person conference ticket and the virtual ticket back to the bank account of the participant from which the invoice was originally paid, within ten (10) business days of the date on which the virtual event was held.

Participant substitutions, including those made on site, are permitted with the written consent of the original registrant. You may send your request by e-mail to [email protected].
