Why I collaborate with Qubit

As the chairman of the Auditclub, I enjoy connecting highquality expert content with a community of auditors from all over Slovakia, where we avoid salespitch presentations and instead focus on open, factual discussions about realworld problems. I also appreciate that the Qubit team creates an environment where managers, architects, analysts, consultants, engineers, administrators, pentesters, and auditors naturally come together. The main mission and added value is therefore to deliver the best events where participants always learn about the latest trends and practical experience from the world of information and cyber security.

About the speaker

A certified cyber security auditor and senior consultant focused on security for clients across various sectors, with 13 years of experience. Currently specializing in performing different types of IT and security audits, cyber security audits, as well as ISO certification audits. He is actively involved in developing IT and security audit services for several audit firms and leads a club of independent IT and security auditors. As part of sharing his expertise, he is highly engaged in educational programs for the commercial sector, public administration, and university students.

Since 2013, he spent seven years in consulting and audit firms KPMG, PwC, and Deloitte in various roles specializing in information and cyber security. He primarily worked on IT audit and security audit projects, while also participating in IT advisory engagements. He began his career during his studies as a software developer at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN).

He graduated in Applied Informatics from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, specializing in Information Systems Security, where he continues to support students as an external consultant for final theses and as a member of the examination committee. He is an active member of the international organizations ISACA and (ISC)², and holds the certifications CISA, CISSP, CDPSE, PRINCE2, ITIL v4, TOGAF, Internal Auditor ISMS 27001:2013, and ISO 22301:2012. Michal was among the first certified cyber security auditors and also holds a security clearance for access to classified information at the Confidential level
